Shuswap Lake

The Houseboat Capital of Canada.

Over a thousand kilometres of shoreline, hidden coves and warm summer water — and Red's is your launch point into all of it.

One of Canada's great lakes

A playground of coves, channels and mountain shoreline.

The Shuswap Lakes system is famous for houseboating and watersports. With over 1,000 km of shoreline, it's the top houseboating destination in the country — which is exactly why Sicamous is known as the Houseboat Capital of Canada.

Recreation lovers will find provincial and regional parks all around the lake, with hiking trails to explore and camping at parks and recreation sites along the fishing lakes and creeks nearby. In winter, the surrounding mountains open up for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.

Perfect for houseboaters

Add a Sea-Doo to your houseboat trip.

Houseboating the Shuswap? A Sea-Doo or a sport boat turns a slow cruise into a full-on lake adventure — zip to a beach, pull the kids on a tube, or fish a quiet bay while the houseboat holds the party.

It's one of the most popular things we do. Rent from us before you launch and we'll get you set up.
